Check out the gimps!
Yes, I'm aging, have bad knees, am out of shape, and have crappy reflexes,
but that hasn't slowed me down much (although I wasn't goint THAT fast
to begin with...).
Here's a couple of video clips of the ways I like to hurt myself:
Skiing: Here's a vid of my buddy Clarence shredding the bumps in Alta, Utah a few years ago. A group of us (including Clarence, myself, Swire, Bates, and TFR) used to go on a "guys ski trip" every year to fun places like Utah and Whistler. We haven't gone in a couple years since Jeff and I became Dads... and now Mike has twins (and he's trying to make them Habs fans, can you believe that?), so who knows when we'll get out next... soon I hope. Anyways, watch as Clarence awes us by clicking HERE.
Hockey: I'm a really big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Before the "new" NHL, there was Men's adult rec league level "B" in San Francisco. See me score a hat-trick by clicking HERE.
Mountain Biking: While I get more and more out of shape with each passing day, I do enjoy mountain biking quite a bit. I don't have any videos to share, but if a mountain bike video is what you want, I'd recommend you track down Steve Crowe's "Heavy Fork" short film from the 2004 Banff Mountain Film Festival. Freaking hi-larious. Here's the description in the program: "Heavy Fork - This video diary documents an enthusiastic 12-year-old's bruising attempts to create his own distinctive, unorthodox mountain-biking style."
